Christmas Past

Well, lets see what we have here. Christmas this year was great. My wife and I got some great things for the baby. (clothes, books, ect.) But our great gift came from our parents. They got us a great digital camera. We actually got two, one from mine and one from hers. We are going to take one back and purchase a video camera instead. We got all kinds of accessories to go along with our camera. We got a printer that attaches directly to the camera, rechargable batteries, and a great carrying case. I was so excited to have a descent camera. We had been using those cheap throw away cams on our vacations. Now I have something good to use. If you click on the My Pics on the side you will be able to see some of the things that I have done. Nothing special yet. Mind you I only got it 2 days ago. But soon hopefully that page will fill up and there will be all kinds of great things to look at. I hope that everyone had a Merry Christmas. See you again around the New year.

Christmas Time Is Near

It's that time of year again. I can't believe that tomorrow is Christmas. This year has flown by so fast. I'm spending Christmas with my wife parents this year. It's the first time for me. I am very excited about the time that we will get to spend with them. I know that Tasha is happy about it too. She hasn't been able to spend Christmas with them for a couple of years. I love to see how excited she is about it. It hust makes it all the better for me.

Not much new to report. We're still trying to get unpacked hopefully by next week we will be all settled in. Well.... I'll let you know how Christmas went in a few days.

P.S. To Mom,Dad, Curt, Cara, Mema, Pepa, Granny Bea, Pat, Tom, Granddaddy, Uncle Sam, Aunt Kelly, Trevor, and Samantha. I love you all and wish you a very Merry Christmas!!!

We Made It!!

Well, we are finally here in New Jersey. The trip went better than we could have even hoped. We had great weather and no vehicle problems at all. Our first stop was in Memphis, TN. We went down to Beale St. and listened to some great blues. We had some drinks and ate some great BBQ. It was a blast. Our next stop was around Bristol TN. We were going to go to the track and check it out because they light it up for Christmas. When we got there though there was a line of cars at least a mile long. So we checked it out from a distance then went on to the hotel. We got up the next day with the final destination in mind. We arrived in NJ at about 5:30 and started to unpack. We finally have everything thing where it needs to go. I'm excited about being here. I can't wait to see where this little journey in life will take me.

Packing is a Pain

OK.... So we are packing now. Ummm... I don't think that we will ever get done. It seems that we keep putting things in boxes and then we turn around and something else has spawned in it's place. Seriously, I didn't think that a 2 bedroom apt. could hold so much crap. HA... but was I mistaken!!

Hopefully we will be done tomorrow. Ya, I know.... wishful thinking. But hey, you never know. Things are going really smooth right now. On Thurs. I have a lot of friends and family show up to help me out in loading the truck. It's really kind of sad to watch everything be put away. I have lived here in Texas all my life and know I am going to have to learn a hole new territory. I have never had a problem getting around or learning new roads, but New Jersey seems to have it setup pretty weird. And to tell you the truth it's not the roads that I'm worrying about, it's the friends and family that I'm going to have to leave here. I will reassure them all now. They can never be replaced and the memories that I have here with them will stay with me forever.

It's Been a While

Wow... I forgot that I had this thing. There has been so much going on since I last wrote. I believe that the last time I talked about work I was still at Coca-Cola. Well, not any more. I actually just had my last day at a company called First American Payment Systems. It was a hard departure because they were such a great company to work for. I had only been there for about 6 months but I had made some GREAT friends. And for those who don't know why I'm leaving, let me explain. About a month and a half ago (maybe 2 months now) we just found out that my wife's mom has cancer, and lung cancer at that. It's extremely unbelievable because she has never smoked a day in her life. Doctors think that it was from second hand because her parents smoked. Well, it is just her mom and dad that live up there and they are going to need some help. Up there meaning New Jersey. So my wife and I have taking upon ourselves to move there and help out. Keep in mind that I have lived in Texas just about all my life. Except for the time that I was in the military. I'm excited about the move though. Hopefully I will have my very first white Christmas ever.

Now for the big news, I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!!!!! We found out about 3 months ago, and about 4 days ago we found out that it is going to be a boy. We have decided on Parker Michael as the name. I can't even tell you how excited I am. I have waited for this for so long. We have already had the baby shower here since we are about to leave. We have got some great stuff. Seeing all the little baby clothes really makes me want it to hurry and get it here. I cant wait to do all the fun stuff with Parker that I did as a kid with my dad. Still there is only one little thing that I can't seem to get over. Call me proud (maybe too proud) but I was born in Texas, my siblings were born in Texas, my parents and most their parents were born in Texas, but Parker will be born in New Jersey. Yup, that's right. He will be a northerner. Mmmm... I don't know if I like that. HA HA... Well there is nothing that I can really do though. To tell you the truth I don't care where we are when he comes as long as he is healthy. Well, I have to get back to my packing. We only have a few days left before the move. We head out on Dec. 15th. Which is this Friday. Wish me luck.

Oh It Never Fails

Well I had to go to work today. I know, whats new? Well, today was different because tomorrow i start vacation. And for any of you that work, you know what that mean. MURPHY'S LAW!!!! Anything that can go wrong will. Let me explain. Like i have said before i work for Coke. Well we get deliveries in our stores. All deliveries are supposed to be at the store by 12:00 pm. Well mine decided not to show until 4:00pm. To make it worse i was off for my weekend yesterday, that means that someone else worked my stores for me yesterday. Well, he decided that he would just take it easy the past two days in my stores. There were pallets of product that were exactly the way i left them. He also decided that the 20 oz coolers didn't need to be pulled in three of four stores. The one store that he did pull the 20 oz he just through them in there however he felt like. There is a certain order that we have to follow so, i had to pull every 20 oz out and totally reset them. Why is that this happens? Why do things always go so horribly wrong right before vacation? OH WELL!! I'm off now. SO..... VACATION HERE I COME!!!!!!

Good Times

Its the first day of my week end. Yestaerday when i got off me and my friend Ryan went out to his parents lake house and chilled for a while. When we got up this morning it was an awesome day. So we decided not to let it go to waste and grabbed some fishing gear and went to the end of the dock. I don't know about you but i find that there is nothing more relaxing than fishing. We had such a succesful time too. We caught at least 7 or 8 fish in about 4 hours. We filleted three of them so now i have some fresh fish in my frig that i plan to cook tonight. Oh, and to go along with my fish, I have an incredible sun burn. I started my farmers tan this weekend. YEAH!

Me and My Wife Posted by Picasa

A little more about me.

Well, lets see, where do i begin. I am 22 years old, and i have been married for almost a year and six months. I absolutely love my wife. Her name is Natasha. Some say i was a little young to be married (well mostly my friends), but i see no problem with it. I felt that it was what i wanted to do, and there is nothing that i would change about the way i did it. I also work for Coca Cola Enterprises. I am a merchandiser for them. Don't let the long name fool you. I'm a pee on. That only means that i stock the shelves in grocery stores. I love it and hate it all at the same time. But who doesn't feel that way about there job? In my free time i like to play my guitar and play on my xbox. My guitar takes up a lot of the free time though. I've been playing for pretty close to four years now. I love it. I learned to play mostly by listening and playing with a CD. I learned a lot of green day, it was very easy, and then i branched out into some more difficult stuff. As far as the xbox i am like any other video game junky. I love to play Halo. I'm also big into the Star Wars games. I know, your thinking "What a nerd!!". Well let me finish. I also went to Marine Corp boot camp. So i'm not all nerdy. I was medically discharged and sent home. It was earth shattering to me beacause i wanted to be there so bad. But my mother was thrilled to see me home again. I know that it was tough for her. Also, had i not come home then i might have not met my beautiful wife. Well thats enough for now. There will be more later.

AHHHHHH!!!!!

Ok.... i think....no...no thats not right. Man This blog thing is killing me. There is one thing that you have to understand about me, I'm completely computer illiterate. I can't do anything on here except solitare. These thing have always been a big mystery to me. They have tried to teach me over and over agian but i just can't do it. My dad has even figured it out befor me. And i'm the one born in the technological era. YEA RIGHT!!! If you ask me it is the era of technological frustration and scientific break down.

Suppa Duppa

So I guess you are wondering how i got the name "Suppa Duppa". Well... I'm into a show called Aqua Teen Hunger Force and there is a character that is named Carl. Well any time that there is something that happens that isn't quite so good he says "Oh thats Suppa Duppa". And so it stuck. I use it all the time. If you haven't watched the show i highly reccomend it. If you don't like it then go away.
